What a fantastic experience it was to go to the UK Pavilion at the Milan Expo, let alone be asked to photograph it by the Artist and designer Wolfgang Buttress. I have worked for Wolfgang before so Its great to work together again. The weird thing is that we have never actually met. All work has been commissioned at distance. One day we will meet I am sure. The pavilion itself is inspired by the journey of the honey bee and highlights the vital role of pollination in the global food chain. It is a metaphor for how the UK is a hive of innovation and creativity helping to feed the planet. A wonderful idea and the execution of it is flawless in its inspiration.
